⚠️ Critical Pre-Installation Safety Directives
• One-Piece Build Structure: The main engine loom forms a permanent, single-piece assembly integrated directly with the fuse block.
• Firewall Routing Method: If mounting the fuse center inside the passenger cabin, the assembly must be front-fed through your bulkhead from the interior compartment, feeding the engine-side connectors through the firewall opening first.
• Ground and Power Warning: Verify all terminal points carefully. Inverting power and ground distributions will cause catastrophic damage to the harness and vehicle electronic modules. Not all black split-loom covered circuits are electrical grounds.
• PCM/ECM Tuning Clarification: The baseline computer flash is intended ONLY as a reliable startup map to override factory VATS and clear core emissions faults. Full performance EFI calibration must be completed independently at an authorized tuning facility.
🔌 Power Distribution and Grounding Architecture
1. Main Positive Electrical Distribution
Connect a heavy-gauge positive battery cable directly from your positive battery terminal to the main starter solenoid power stud (the larger, outside threaded post on the starter motor casing). A high-current power distribution block may be placed inline to feed high-amperage current split lines to your chassis fuse panel or main vehicle accessories.
2. Engine Block and Chassis Ground System
Ensure the primary battery ground leads carry a clean, uninterrupted path to both the vehicle chassis and the main engine block. Use high-quality grounding wire no smaller than 4 AWG for all battery, block, or frame connection pads. Every engine block grounding face must be scrubbed completely bare — free of oil, rust, clear coats, or paint. Keep all primary chassis grounding lead paths short, ideally under 20 inches total length.

Section A — Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and Distribution Block
Locate the main vehicle management hub area to correctly mount the diagnostic components, system relays, and air conditioning interface sub-looms.
Section B — Central Drivetrain Loom Run
This branch forms the spine of your top-end block wiring. Lay this segment smoothly along the engine valley area to address your ignition coils, starter command triggers, and alternator regulator hookups.
Section C — Front Accessory and Sensor Termination Group
Route these forward lines cleanly around the intake assembly to line up with your mass airflow sensors, throttle bodies, oil pressure sensors, and camshaft positioning components.
Section D — Modular Transmission Sub-Harness Connections
Plug your specific transmission expansion harness into the main engine trunk line. Route the sealed case plug directly down to the primary connector on the right-hand (passenger) side of your transmission housing.
Section E — Independent Climate Control Sub-Harness
This isolated routing line manages your A/C integration, tying your independent pressure monitoring plugs directly to air conditioning system compressor connectors A and B.

Ground Quality is Everything: More swap electrical gremlins trace back to poor grounding than any other single cause. Spend the extra time to clean every ground surface to bare metal and use proper ring terminals crimped and soldered to your ground leads.
Tune Before You Drive: The baseline flash is a fire-up map only. Do not attempt to drive the vehicle on public roads until a proper tune has been loaded by a qualified EFI tuner. Running on the base map long-term can cause engine damage.
